In real life a lot of writers, myself included, are pretty quiet. But here, I'm a loudmouth. Once I got comfortable here, I rarely worried about whether what I had to say was worthwhile. I just blurt it out. I urge you to do the same. It's also good to find a thread which is not fully serious and participate there once every few days at a minimum. In short order you'll be in on the jokes and one of the crew. You're more than welcome to visit Ray's House of Love. See you in the hot tub?

Or you could a find a thread that is fully serious and make comments that are not fully serious, or vice versa. That's always fun
