1. clean house
2. go get water from the water mill
3. go get money orders to send my check away to everyone
4. go to Dollar Store and buy a new broom. (the kids broke mine)
5. eat at some point
6. get laundry ready to take to son's house tomorrow.
7. sit and do nothing ( will probably be on here for that)
8. get a cover sheet ready for submitting my short
9. reread the short to make sure that it's ready to go
10. work the nerve up to actually send the short to the 'zine.

These are those Ore-Ida toaster hash brown things. They are like a thick patty. Not nearly as good as homemade hash browns, but a lot less trouble.

It's raining hard here. I'm trying to decide whether to do something constructive this evening like write or whether to do nuffing. Any thoughts?

Actually, I wear glasses when I'm using the office computer and while driving. Otherwise I don't. But reading is becoming a problem. I'm not quite comfortable reading with glasses or without now. I tried an extra pair of just reading glasses, but that didn't quite work either. I know you were only talking about the reading cat.

I suggest a little reading for inspiration, then nuffing.

Hey, funners!

I woke up to a miracle today. My son (who has recently left public school to do an online program) cleaned the entire house while I was asleep. Floors, dusting, dishes, laundry...he even ran the kids shower curtain through the wash and then hung it back up. I'm fairly certain that the child sitting in my living room now is not actually my son. He's an imposter. I'm not complaining though.

When I asked why he did all of that he said, "Because you told me to to something productive with my time." <--Proof that said child is an alien clone. My real son never remembers anything I tell him.

Oh dear. I believe the fairies have stolen your child and replaced him with a damn...I can't remember what they left. Ah. Changeling. Apparently, it was a change for the better?

My brother and I would occasionally do something like that. I remember us spending most of a Saturday cutting up and removing a dead apple tree one time when our parents were away (we hadn't been told or asked to). And the funny thing is I don't think we did it just to get a pat on the back or a reward.

I guess maybe once every two years we realized our parents worked hard to provide for us and we wanted to give something back.

Of course, the next day we would set fire to something. Hey, they couldn't expect us to be nice FOREVER.

You could've saved yourself some time if you'd combined days, AC - set fire to the apple tree.

I'm doing 5. and 6. right now. I actually enjoy doing laundry. Find it relaxing for some reason. It's also a good excuse to sit with a book for a bit if I go to the laundry mat instead of doing it here.
