Okay so I am sure someone has said this somewhere on here but here goes:

If you are with a lit. agent and it feels like its not working, you should
Then you try to communicate to them what your concerns are.

IF nothing has changed, DROP THEM!!!!!

Pls,pls, pls, do not waste your time bc you are too"nice" to drop them.
If they are not on the ball then move the @#$^ on!

Man, I wish I had told myself that months ago. Sigh.
live & learn right?

I'd say that's the rule with anyone in life. Stay away from negative people. Sorry it didn't work out, but if it makes ya feel any better, it took me 2 years to get my first agent, and a few months to get the second. I saw other people say the same thing, and went, "Yeah right, not for me it wont" but it did.

One of the few times I'm happy that I was wrong :)

yes, TGA, glad to hear you made a decision. I had been wondering what you ended up doing. So sorry it didn't work out, but at least now you can move on and move forward.

best of luck to you!

When you dropped your first agent, did you ask him/her for all the pubs contacted and when? How much info. did you get out of the agent?
