Morning, pubbers old and new! Went to a traditional Polish wedding reception yesterday and observed the effects of copious amounts of vodka being metabolized. I restrained myself with a couple bottles of Zywiec (Polish beer), so no hangover here.

My agenda, you ask?
• work on my Kidlit August prompt story
• critique the 2nd draft of a friend's MS
• work on the 100th + draft of my query
• add a few paragraphs to my WIP
• spend entirely too much time on the AW forums
• make peach cobbler
• make salsa
• pet my cats
• go to an outdoor concert in the park
• go to a bbq
• pet the cats again

This is only half of what I WANT to do. What do you think won't get accomplished?

Today I plan to finish filling in my planner with all the stuff I currently have to put in it and to listen to YA author Maureen Johnson read from her new book.

So like really thanks to those who watched the you tube link about the WEBB I think it can be found between pages 126-127. For sake of not spamming I wont post it again.

How's everyone?

Nice to see you around Greeney and welcome to al the new pubbers! I can sympathize, as many of us can with the heavy loads we all carry. Husband, kids, jobs, school, writing. Seems like there is never enough time. FabricatedParadise, thanks for your husband's service and for your own. Navy wives are part of the Navy too!

My plan was to sit down and write my to-do list and then complete homework due in one of my classes. After that I was going to finish the latest chapter of my WIP.

4 hours later... I've been on AW all day. I haven't even made the to-do list. I did however manage to make some popcorn.

I need to make some kind of list. Patting the cat is definitely going to feature a few times.
Number 1 on the list should be a rewrite of my YA manuscript so I can resubmit it. Head hurty. Must go pat the cat.

I spent most of the day with the family, we had a little get together over at my nephew's place. It's a three hour round trip so I don't get over there often. Of course, this puts me seriously behind on my writing. Haven't finished my chapter for the day, let alone worked on anything else, plus there's a sink full of dirty dishes and three overflowing trash cans calling my name. *sigh*

Ah well, two adorable little kids and lots of smiling family faces are worth it. Even if I have to stay up all night to catch up.

Kyra, you definitely made the right choice.

I was able to check off 7 of the 11 items on my to do list, but I still consider that a successful day! Especially since the cats got some lovin'.

Holy cow, Swachski! 7?! You're amazing. I can't fit half those things into one day. I picked up half the mess in the house, took my toddler to see a lighthouse down the road (Priceless!) and wrote the first draft of a query. Still, I was happy with that.

Well, two of the items were the same thing.

And most days aren't nearly that productive.

Morning everyone!

My greatest achievements today are: Eating a whole bowl of soup without feeling sick and sitting upright for longer than an hour before feeling the need to curl back into a ball.

Can I have some chocolate milk and a cookie?

Sorry your not feeling well, AN (passing virtual chocolate milk and cookie across bar. Eat slow, I don't want it coming back up!)

The only thing I have really accomplished today is driving to the school to pick up the yearly high school sports pass. Unfortunately this means I have even more resaons to neglect housework and writing. Of course, writing usually makes me neglect housework, so really, the house loses. Well, back to the query letter. Just about ready to post in QLH. (Downs a shot of liquid courage.) Here goes!

I was pretty today. During nap times I managed to edit my query for qlh and edit another chapter of my WIP. I think Editor may have been my true calling and I missed it.

Pretty productive.... Oops.

I was just looking at a story I was writing in first person about a guy who wakes up in a hellish version of LA. I was thinking about keeping on that one since it was one of my better ideas for the moment. (I might need some one to help me in editing...) *Glances up at Fab*
