The contract is officially in hand now:

My science fiction novel will be published by a company that needs me to wait to release its name. This is my first novel for adults, and my first sci fi, so I'm pretty psyched!

(In contrast, my W1S1 had a bad week, with three rejections, but it doesn't hurt too much in the shadow of a book contract!)
