I'm guessing bill was joking. children's book for adults, young adult, get it? lol. Anyway if the book turns out to be as funny as the title I might have to get a copy myself.

The author read portions of this in an interview. The parts I heard were very, very funny. Plus, he's already a well known author. I've already seen several links and interviews about it. I'm not surprised people are pre-ordering.

I might have to put this one on the shelf next to my beloved copy of "FU, Penguin."

That's freaking awesome. I'm buying it.

Good for Adam and Akashic! I hope they hit the NYT with it. :D

After spending the last hour trying to get my two to go to sleep, I would so get this book. I know how he feels.

I'm with Kitty. This is a very misleading title, and kind of an annoying one, since you have to actually click on the link before discovering how non-YA it really is...

But yes, I can see parents wanting a copy for their shelves.

I do think it was a joke, but I think it was a joke that is based on the assumption that children's books and YA are the same thing.

Either way, I have a four-month-old who does not like to sleep, and this looks hilarious.
