my wip is continually in trouble

I don't outline (I've tried) but it's a plot problem, as always. My WIP isn't a story yet, just some scenes, and moving forward from here will be too hard until I figure out the plot more. the why and the how. hmm.

I can't do too much outlining and I can't completely ignore outlining. I just use that Save the Cat beat sheet (and occasionally I'll jot down a major thing that happens for each chapter, if I do much more than that I'll feel like I've already written the story).

You'll get it. I know you will.

Hehe. Not exactly new. I'm taking lil' old Escapist and it's sort of a complete re-imagining of it. So I guess it is new (except a few key things).

Cool about the almost-new WIP! And your way of outlining

*tries to write* I don't understand how I'm capable of this. Hours and hours of sitting in front of a blank screen, and only a few sentences. How do I waste so much time and get so little accomplished? My lack of productivity knows no bounds.

ETA: No internet, and put Glee on every half hour after writing. Or it might be an hour, or even more. I'll see how I feel tomorrow. It will mean I might not be on for a while, especially if I switch between my laptop and the TV.
