Hi,

I am brand new here but been surfing from afar for some time. I have been writing regularly for the last three years but only submitted my first short story for publication in May. I have been a bit cowardly and kept my writing locked from sight, which I am happy about looking back on their standard.

I wrote my first novel last year but it is hopeless so I am honing my craft once again by getting short stories out there and getting some meaningful feedback.

I love the supportive community spirit I see here and like that fact that unlike other creative endeavours in which I have dabbled, there really doesn't seem to be any rivalry and bitterness which is fantastic.

Look forward to engaging with you all at some point. :)

Welcome Project Deadlight.
Don't worry about the first draft of your first novel not being up to scratch. Either move to second draft or second novel.

Welcome to AW. Hope you enjoy your stay with us.
How do you like your popcorn?

If you go to the bottom of the page to the ‘forum jump’ you can scroll down and find all the areas of this place. Most of the SYW areas require the password of ….vista. A word to the wise, (50 posts), it would be a good idea to participate first in helping others before you think about posting your own work. After you have been around here for awhile, then post something of your own for help. Good luck.
