Suggestions for POD Children's Book Vendor and How-To's
Sorry to make a new thread for what I'm sure must have been covered before, but my searches aren't yielding any fruit and I though it best to cut to the punch.
I'm looking to do a color, softcover children's book through print-on-demand. I don't need an author or an illustrator (I'll muddle through both roles myself), and I'm not worried about marketability. I just want to print off a few copies as gifts for young nieces, nephews, and cousins. Which POD peddler would be the best match for this limited goal, and has anyone assembled a guide to formatting the pictures and text properly for them? I've used CreateSpace for the purpose of printing prose gift books before and found really nice guides to getting my formatting right, but looking for the same for children's picture books, CreateSpace or no, has yielded bupkis.
