I'm an INFJ, apparently. I usually get either that or INFP, depending on the test.

Apparently INFJ is only 3% of the population...um. Okay.

But this is good:

Blessed with vivid imaginations, Counselors are often seen as the most poetical of all the types, and in fact they use a lot of poetic imagery in their everyday language. Their great talent for language-both written and spoken-is usually directed toward communicating with people in a personalized way. Counselors are highly intuitive and can recognize another's emotions or intentions - good or evil - even before that person is aware of them. Counselors themselves can seldom tell how they came to read others' feelings so keenly. This extreme sensitivity to others could very well be the basis of the Counselor's remarkable ability to experience a whole array of psychic phenomena.

I usually test as an INFP as well!

Though, my "N" and "P" are right in the middle ... so they can skip the border occasionally depending on the day. I have also had a few "Extroverts" pop up when I've been required to take the test in a group at work. (I don't want to read too much into that one!).

I'm ALWAYS a strong F, regardless of the day/time/circumstances for taking the test.

I am ESFP. Hmmm... I prefer astrology, no matter how subjective it is so I'll also say that I'm a Sun Pisces, Moon Leo. And that kind of goes along with this.

I'm kind of tied with intuition and sensation.

ETA: Wow. Not a lot of extraverts here.

INTP

It told me I was an introvert. I totally agree with it.

I got INTP.

Supposedly, that mean's I'm a creative genius who needs a job where I can work with my ideas without people to annoy me.

Hey, there words, not mine!

I got INFJ, although I would have preferred an additional option for some of those questions.

I'm an INFP. I've taken that type of test a bunch of times over the past 15 years or so (I was a psych major in college), and I always get the same result.

I'm still really really strong in the N and F categories, but not nearly as strong an "I" as I used to be. I'm almost 50 / 50 I and E these days. Interesting how that works.

Apparently I'm an INFP -- "dreamer" "idealist" "visionary". Pretty much got me read.

@Shady Lane

If I had to pick another ENTP here, it would definitely be you! You have the most twisted sense of humor, I love it.

I read that we're a type that doesnt make good writers, so I'm glad I'm not the only one

Mine says I'm more suited for acting or photography, with no tilt towards writing. And I hate taking care of children. Eh, I take these things in a rather subjective light towards what you could do easily, rather than what you'd really want to do or what you'd be good at.

INTP.

I've gotten INFP and INTJ before though, so my F/T and J/P must be borderline.

My result was INTP. However, I have a special loathing for this personality test, as a friend of my friend determined themselves to be an INTJ (one of the rarest personality types) and then sought to label everyone else a personality type and expected them to fit into those narrow boxes of personality.

INTJ here.

I tend to feel like these things are almost like astrological signs, though. Yeah, the things said about INTJ types are pretty true of me. I work best independently, think outside the box, don't always get the social dynamic, have high expectations and I wish people made a bit of bloody sense, all INTJ qualities. But I'm pretty sure plenty of people could relate to those things if it were written as their "type", kwim?

Still lots of fun, though. It's curious to me that we have so many similar personality types here! Lots more introverts than extroverts too, it seems.

I've noticed it's that way anywhere on the internet. I selmdom run into other E's and when I do, they're almost always ENTP's. I polled the readers of my blog once, and over 80% of them were introverts. Makes sense obviously, as it allows for interaction that's social but not as draining as the usual social obligations.

See, I love talking to people and being the center of attention. Unfortunately, I'm not the type to initiate contact. Whenever I used to take these tests, I'd score higher in the introvert scale. But overtime I've become more social. It's strange.
