Pitch???

I need to have a 250 word pitch. What all goes into these? Obviously the basic - plot and hook. What else? Most refer to the query/pitch together.

Suggest you take a peek at The Construction of a Logline article by Chris Lockhart, it's aimed at screenwriters, but same principle applies.

Also, you can plug "elevator pitch" into the search box up top and read the appropriate threads it finds.
