When I started my most recent WIP I actually posted that clip and told my friends to do it to me every once in a while to make sure I don't trash it like all the others. Love it.

So I went to Indigo (the Canadian version of B &N) and sat in their Starbucks to write. I don't think I'd have finished the proposal otherwise.)

Many reasons.
1.) Caramel lattes.
2.) Caramel macchiatos.
3.) Salted caramel hot chocolates.
4.) Caramel frappucinos.
5.) Pumpkin lattes, with caramel on the whipped cream.
6.) Caramel mainlined straight from the bottle you stole while the barista wasn't looking.

Here's the transcript of what he's saying (to Brian, the dog, a pseudo-intellectual who is convinced his books are going to be awesome when they're ripoffs of various movie plots)
"How you uh, how you comin' on that novel you're working on? Huh? Gotta a big, uh, big stack of papers there? Gotta, gotta nice litte story you're working on there? Your big novel you've been working on for 3 years? Huh? Gotta, gotta compelling protaganist? Yeah? Gotta obstacle for him to overcome? Huh? Gotta story brewing there? Working on, working on that for quite some time? Huh? (voice getting higher pitched) Yea, talking about that 3 years ago. Been working on that the whole time? Nice little narrative? Beginning, middle, and end? Some friends become enemies, some enemies become friends? At the end your main character is richer from the experience? Yeah? Yeah? (voice returns to normal) No, no, you deserve some time off."
