Amazon is now publishing novels, this is hardcover and e-books. Thought some of you might be interested.

I didn't know. Just read it today on NYT online.

Huu the link should work. Otherwise perhaps you can search on The New York Times, TechMe, or Amazon. I actually saw the link on TechMe and followed it to NYT.

I just tried the link in my original post, and that works fine.

I don't think it will change anything. As much as I hate agents, I have to admit that agents and editors can shape a manuscript better, and one doesn't have to self-promote on many forums.

But if Amazon does that too, uhm, it would be great. But I still believe there are people in amazon doing selecting/editing like agents and editors.

Why, what have agents done to you?

It would seem that Amazon are only dealing with agents or big name authors with proven track record of sales for their mainstream publishing arm at the moment.
