Morning, all! I'm going to finish this first draft today if it kills me. Which, hopefully it won't because I have another few drafts to go.

I feel kind of meh today. I'm trying not to, I think that may be making it worse.

And there's a free lecture on by a writer tomorrow at the university and at least 75% of me is saying "You should go, you might learn something" and the rest and more vocal part is going 'meh'

Please, PLEASE, can I swap brains with someone?

ETA: Should Blackberries be known as Bradbury's as all they seem to produce is science fiction?

I'll swap - I warn you in advance, it's a rather strange brain, with slight damage.

So, it's my birthday and I'm not doing anything special today. Very busy work day with lots of meetings. Planning to go to my Krav Maga class tonight. Husband is working late, so I must fend for my own food. I swear, the older I get, the less exciting birthdays are.

Upside: Avengers this weekend.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!

The vein on my forehead is going to explode in a torrent of blood if I have to explain the difference between kilts and skirts again... It'll turn the Cantina into a scene from Evil Dead.

I have spent the last week with a low grade hangover. Problem is, I haven't been drinking.

My first thought is to blame the new glasses. But it started before I got the new glasses, so that's right out. and I don't really have allergies, so I can't really blame that. sigh.
