My clematis was blooming this morning. So are the fringe trees. It's May 4th.
Both of these normally bloom closer to memorial day.

Revelation: the flowers are out! I never notice the flowers are out until they're nearly everywhere. Makes it feel as if they appeared by magic.

I am dilated now.
Doc says I am looking better, but she is making special arrangements to see me on Sunday evening to assess whether or not I am able to return to work on Monday.
Until then, I have drops to dilate and steroid drops to help reduce the swelling.

Considering what I've currently been through, that line threw me for a loop for a second there.

That is a huge improvement.
Oh, nice! I likely won't even get to leave my plants out overnight until closer to Memorial Day. Odd spring is odd.

There's a t-shirt which has an AT-AT cocking its' leg against a tree. I was so tempted to get it, but I'm at the very edge of my yearly t-shirt limit (given that I practically live in t-shirts, its' unsurprising that I have four boxes of them still to unpack).

I thought about that when I wrote it.
It is. I feel mostly decent now that my eye is all relaxed and I've taken pain meds.
Of course, this whole things has been sort of insane.
