Phoo. My phone's internet capacity is completely blacked out (Literally. Instead of loading pages I just get a black screen, which is kind of a new one.). Did I mention we got a new puppy this week? We got her from the pound (we only ever get pets from the pound), a 16-week Dalmatian mix. We named her Cupcake, though my mom usually calls her Damnation.

I love Dalmatians... I had this thing when I was a kid where I told my mom we should get a Dalmatian because they pee'd less than other dogs.

I know when I said that, I meant what I said and I had a very good reason for saying it, but now I don't remember what it was.....

We got Cupcake on Monday, but there was some question as to whether she could remain with the family. Seems they had spayed her just the day before, and she wasn't feeling very good when we took her home. Poor little thing. But the vet put her on antibiotics, and she's been perking up steadily since.

We got her to be an inside dog, but strangely enough, she prefers to be outside. She'll come inside to eat (and to pee in my laundry room floor), but the rest of the time, she's like our porch monitor, staying under the porch swing all afternoon, basking in the sun and playing with my sister's Australian shepherd.
