Thief Selling One of MY Stories on Amazon

I'm sorry if this is in the wrong place, but I didn't know where to post it and I don't know what to do.

Today I received an e-mail that someone was selling one of my stories on Amazon. I went to check, and sure enough, there it is.

Report it to Amazon immediately, is my first instinct. Send them the link you post above.

Honestly, I'd leave a review/comment saying the work is stolen as well.

And consult an attorney.

But that's just my first instincts; others may have actually been in this situation and have better advice.

ETA: I think you need to post this link on Twitter. That author sells more than a few stories; how many of them are stolen? IMO you need to get the word out to the erotica community so they can see if their work is there.

I'm going to report it as "inappropriate" because it violates the Kindle Terms of Service, i.e. that the work must be YOUR OWN.

Get on to Amazon and I'd suggest contacting your lawyer. Find Legal Aid if you can and see if they can offer free help.

Sue the offender into oblivion. Amazon can detail how much money he/she's been paid and you can seek compensation.

Get legal advice - contact Writer Beware and see what they can do to help you out.

One of the owners of Literotica has tweeted that he's reported the stolen stories to Amazon.

Amadan, what I did was scroll to the bottom of the product screen; on the left there's a block marked "Feedback," and you can report it there. I hope everyone does.

SO angry.

The worst part is that after she's busted she'll just create a new Amazon account and do it again. Fucking shithead.
