Nice. I was doing that type of research quite recently. I liked researching Aum Shinrikyo.

I love Fable 3!

I'm supposed to be doing homework...but I'm painting my nails red and white (Red Wings colors for you non-hockey fans).

Wow, a new thread!

It's been a little while guys. How has everyone been?

I just did a job interview today and I am suppose to be getting a call later on today to see if I got the job or not. It's my first full time job, which I am kind of nervous because I am also a full-time college student and just got accepted into the bachelor program of my dreams.

So cross your fingers for me!

Thanks, Para. I know what you mean about the job interviews. I've been to a few since my last job I had to quit in 2010 and they haven't turned out very well. This economy is seriously a pain in the ass. It's either you're "overqualified" or "under qualified" or "the other candidate had more experience."

The interviewer interviewed me and another girl. So it's been me and her, I guess.

Thanks, Lisa! e.l!

Whoa. Am I wrong, or did the end of The Two Towers movie leave out the fact Frodo was drugged and Sam thought he was dead?

Also wondering if I should watch the first part of the next movie to get into the book....

Go researching! Personally i have a love hate relationship with researching. One one hand i can finish research papers quickly and easily because i'm so used to doing speedy research for book stuff. On the other hand its still a pain in the ass. Plus, with the research topics i look up... well i'm pretty sure i'm on some sort of government watch list. What normal 21 year old looks up how to build bombs, make cyanide, pick locks, hotwire cars, quickest way to kill a person, most painful way to kill a person, the exact location of the femoral artery, ect... (and those are only my most resent searches.)

Oh man, I heard that line about the more experienced candidate so many times. I even got edged out for an internship dealing with contracts at a literary agency. I'm a publishing postgraduate with a law degree with a specialism in intellectual property! Who could you possibly get with more experience for an internship?

Yay! I've done that too before! Fun stuff! For the story concept idea i've been sitting on for a few months CWII I've been looking into the best kind of guerrilla warfare methods and have looked alot into the IRA and there methods. Also some on ninjas... when i start researching i cant stop. I end up on topics sooooo far off from my original google search

Good idea! God how i love those movies, now you make me want to watch them again!

Once for a college class i had to write a paper comparing a book we were reading in class to a more modern movie. I picked how similar Gullivers Travels were to the the Lord of the Ring movies! Why? SO i had an excuse to watch all three movies for "homework"
