They lost me in their description - ten authors writing about one small corner of the American west ... followed by your story should take place outside North America. What did I miss? Puma

i think it's a fictionalised town that they want some short stories on - keeping in with the 'atmosphere' of Unforgiven (ie gritty) i dont know much else, but well, why not? sounds ok to me.

Its a fictionalized town in the US, and they are asking for stories from outside the US. That is less than clear to me.

my take is they are happy for submissions from authors residing anywhere., but the stories have to be circa 1853 and western.

maybe i've got it wrong, but the link/info came from a reliable source.

In the link, if you click on the Town Called Pandemonium it takes you to another page that shows the authors of the ten stories and has a little more description of Pandemonium. Also says it's science fiction writers.

It sounds to me like the stories about the western town are already written or being written by the ten listed and they will include some more stories from 1853 placed outside North America. From their previous anthology, my guess is the number of other stories is 8. Puma
