I know and the movie became a sort of self fulfilling prophecy. Everybody thought it would bomb and so it did.

Once again I'm trying to comment and the blog is blocking me with some message about not being logged in.

I will say that I have seen the Being Human episode with the zombie, and I didn't find her sympathetic. I was as relieved for myself as I was for her when she died. Arguably, Torchwood did the anti-zombie horde, but even then it was a matter of limited sympathy. I guess it really is a matter of aesthetics.
