Hi everyone,

Please enjoy my review of Act of Terror by Marc Cameron.

Thanks,

Ethan

Three CIA agents go rogue and start shooting their coworkers in the CIA Headquarters cafeteria in the opening scenes of this high-octane thriller. Terrorists have infiltrated key US institutions and they appear to be American. CIA Special Agent Jericho Quinn, the “hammer” of the US President Chris Clark, is called to destroy this new threat to the American nation. Quinn’s own life and the life of his ex-wife and daughter are in danger. He needs to fight back not just for his loved ones, but for all of America.

Mr. Cameron’s style is clear, and the pace is fast, with action on almost every page. The story moves from Alaska to the White House, and from Afghanistan to Western China. The reader has a little breathing room to contemplate Quinn’s next moves, always to be surprised by unexpected twists and turns. Terrorists are lurking in every corner and bodies are piling up, as the clenches of fear and panic begin to grip the nation.

Who are these terrorists threatening the mere existence of the US? How did they outwit the extensive vetting processes, set up to smoke out such people? What will Quinn have to do and whom can he trust?
