How? Be a constant "newbie"! How can you possibly grow old if you're forever the new kid on the block? And what with all of the daily opportunities to become a newbie here, or there, or anywhere you look, you'll never run out of possibilities. Thus I gladly renew my newness, with a almost new novel, Hack, published by indie Harper Davis last August, and my first year in an MFA program - The Rainier Writing Workshop - and other new things like 30 years of wedded bliss (I'm pretty sure I've never done this before), and a new growth here, and a new liver spot there, and a new bald spot where there once was hair, and a new ache, a new pain, and...oh I forget what else is new. Except that here I am, a newbie! Yahoo! Pleased to meetcha!
