Scott Hoffman has expressed interest in my Chick Lit novel. does anyone have any experiences good or bad regarding the above to share, or does anyone know anything about them? I checked in Preditors and Editors and there is a $ by both names.

He asked for a partial in response to a query I e-mailed. Got a relatively quick rejection - within seven or eight hours, and it was a form rejection.

I also got a very quick rejection from Mr Hoffman for my fantasy novel.
They're a newly formed agency and so, I presume, are building a client list. Good luck.

Congratulations, Toni! You've been to their Web site, right?

Seems pretty reputable to me. I'll be querying them in a few weeks, myself. I've seen them mentioned quite a few times online. I'd say go for it. Good luck!

This may be a new agency, but these are not new agents - they all have credentials. The only worry anyone should have about this agency is getting them to represent you.

I know the founder Jeff Kleinman and it's his new agency. He has a good rep. in the industry as far as I know. Google his name and read about him. He used to be with Graybill & English in Washington, DC, until fall 2005.

Good wishes to you!

Excellent! Sounds very promising.

Don't forget to ask for an estimate of his reading time.

Has anyone else had experience with this agency and the turnaround on a full manuscript?

Just curious. The response to query/partial seems to be very quick, but I'm wondering as to the rest. :)

New agency, but good rep and all the staff have good previous backgrounds. I know Jeff Kleinman by reputation. You have nothing to worry about.

I just got a request for a partial in response to a snail mail query to Jenny Rappaport. Unusually she sent the request by snail mail - an exception to the rule that 'good news comes by e-mail, bad news by post'.
