I thought I would share with AW my feelings on Infidel by Ayaan Hirsi Ali.
After reading this book, I found the courage to leave my country, Pakistan, and also the religion of Islam.
Now I live in the UK, in London, and I have made a good life for myself, all because of Ayaan Hirsi Ali and this book.
I now know that I have the human rights to choose if I even want to get married or not, and the right to choose which man to marry.
Ayaan Hirsi Ali, in my view, is the most courageous and inspirational woman in the world today. With her crucible of personal experiencers, I think she is much wiser than all the apologetic academics.
She is my hero, political truth-telling superstar and champion of free speech. Has anybody read her book, "Infidel"? It changed my life. I can only fear what would have happened to me if I had not read it!
