I have a terrible crush on Robbie Rotton . How can I tell my husband? I feel such shame.

He makes my heart pound so.

And Sportacus isn't so bad either (the guy in baby blue).

His character is a lot less creepy than Magnus Schieving's Sportacus, I think!

He is actually quite an accomplished actor/dancer/musician.

Oh, and Terri, it's Robbie Rotten.

And as creepy as the show can seem, at times, I appreciate the fact that Sportacus now has my son asking for "sport's candy."

Gotta love a show like that!

His full name is Stefán Karl Stefánsson.

Whatcha think, now, Terri? He is a bit of a dreamboat--a dancing, singing, acting, funny dreamboat.

No, I'm a Sporticus girl all the way. :)

Me too...he makes my heart go pitter patter!

In fact, my son doesn't even care for the show but I make him watch it. I figure if I can watch endless hours of Miffy and friends, he can watch Lazy Town once in a while! :)

LOL! I make my kids watch too. With me. My girls always ask me why I'm drooling with that funny look on my face.

Sportacus! Sportacus!

If I'm going to go with a bad guy, I don't want one with a plastic face! I want Dr. Regis Blackgaard from the children's radio show Adventures in Odyssey!

*Drools on keyboard*

I'm known on the AIO message boards as 'Mrs. Regis Blackgaard'... you've never met a fan girl like me.

Miffy and Maisy--two shows I can hardly stand.

Although with Miffy, I laughed myself silly when I first found out there was a pig named Grunty. (Still makes me giggle.)

That Sportacus guy is the creator of Lazytown. You guys know that it's filmed in Iceland, of all places? He and Robbie Rotten guy are from there.

I'm amazed at Sportacus' moves. It must be supercool to be able to do that stuff! But his interest in Stephanie is what bugs me in a tangential way. My husband says, "Why wouldn't he be more interested in talking to her? She's about the only other "real" person!"

I think Greg on the Wiggles is good-looking, and so does my step-mom. :) My dad used to joke that my half-sister (now 4) would have a new daddy with a big red car if my step-mom ever ran off with anyone!

Sooo that's what he looks like without the makeup. Wow, I was wondering.

I told another Mom that they put those guys in that show for Mom eye candy. If we have to sit through Dora and Wonder Pet, the least they could do was give us something to look forward too.

My daughter LOVES Lazytown. She always wants me to put the DVDs on.

I use to like watching Joe on Blues Clues. I thought that he was kind of cute. But then his goofiness started rubbing me the wrong way.

The very idea that you guys are getting hot and bothered by these characters on kid's shows is a little troubling (or a little arousing--I can't decide which). And why are there no hot adult women on these shows? Bloody favoritism!

Rob :)

There was a children's show on when I was a kid that had hot women. Pam Anderson and Carmen Electra were on it as I recall.

I learned all myvalues fromthat show.
