Just listened! Great interview Callalily61! I used to hang out at the convents when I was a kid and visit with the nuns. They make the best peanut butter and jelly sandwiches.

Great interview, callalily, you handled it like a pro. I especially loved the bit where the male presenter admitted he wrote screenplays and knew all about rejection.

Thank you.
I spent many years teaching and acting (pre-kids) which helps with these events now.

hi,
thanks, happywritermom! and thanks, wonderactivist-- would like to get to know you, too -- (and all the other fellow mystery writers here!). BSP: my guest post on Mystery Writing is Murder (Elizabeth Craig's blog) was posted yesterday: The Who, What and Where of Characters and Story. My interview with Patricia Gligor for her Writers' Forum is scheduled for June 10. Having a great time with all this-- but also trying to get work done on the second book in the MOTHER series. Just a teeny weeny brag. My writing prompt was picked for the WoW Women on Writing FB page. So the prompt is there, a snip-it of a bio, and my book cover (the one in my siggy.) So getting my book pic out there before I release it is a good thing right? Plus WoW is a notable group. So my 15 min of fame.

What, a place where we're actually encouraged to brag?!! And no one slaps our hands for being self-serving? Too good to be true.
I do have something to share. SUSPICION is a thriller with a supernatural tinge that was published some twelve years ago by Simon & Schuster---it's about a writer, the author of a series of ghost stories, who moves with her husband and son into an isolated house that may or may not be haunted. If it's not, then someone very close to her is playing with her mind...unless the writer, who has a psychiatric history, is doing it herself. So here's the news: S&S has just reissued SUSPICION as an ebook, to be followed by two other titles. You can download a sample here if you have a Kindle, here for Nook. They've also made the book available in paperback, though the price is a bit steep. Thanks!

Thanks! We've been swilling Champagne like water, though to be honest, we'll take any excuse.

Thanks! Deep discounts to AW members (like at cost plus shipping), by the way. I'm thinking of giving up the business. It was fun, but it takes too much time. I barely make anything because I don't have the time or energy to do the marketing.

That's enticing. I'd buy one for sure---how do I get that discount?
