Jumping in with foot in my mouth already!

Hi all, just thought I'd jump on in after lurking a long while. Thought I'd begin with my foot in my mouth so it won't come as a shock when I make the inevitable stupid remark...never unkind, but often in "duh" mode!!

Anyway, I'm excited to be here and can't wait to learn from all of you. This looks like a great board. I tried to "chat" last night, but I didn't get the hang of it, so if I go into a room again and don't respond, just pretend I'm not really there! Thanks. Verbie

I do copywriting

I'm in negotiations for a series of ten children's books

I do a few non-fiction articles

And I did a two year stint as a reporter at a small town newspaper

Hi Verbie,
I have one children's book right now that I have sent to publishers and have entered it in a writing contest. I have also started a few novels. The novel I have most recently started I think I will actually finish. I am actually inspired with this novel. I love that feeling. It's like my own natural high. I can't wait to see what the characters do next so I just keep writing.

Did you see the posting about the Korean Educational Children's Books? It's under paying markets, I think. Good Luck in the contest! I'm excited about my children's series. I've got one sold and I'm feeling pretty confident about the other nine with the same publisher, but who knows, right?
