editing for authors ad

A publisher or agency using Google ads to solicit your novel probably isn't anyone you want to write for.

I was lacilole about writing for long periods of time until one day I found myself waking up very early just to add more to my story.

Seriously, I hear my characters voices every bit as clear as I do those of real people. Same goes for scenes, it's like watching TV only I can do it anywhere. I have back and forth conversations with my characters in my head. (I don't talk out loud since I can hear their thoughts and I guess they can hear mine since they respond)

Oh, and I've done the all-night thing too. Most of what I do then tends to be organizing and mapping stuff out, though...for some reason that just doesn't burn off my stamina in the same way as real writing, though that said, if I can get into a zone-out in the writing I end up doing a "I wrote HOW MUCH?!" at the end of the night. Anyway, it does also make the real writing go faster, when I know what I'm setting up.

Hard to do that any more, though, 'cause with student teaching from 8 to 4, being up since 5:30 AM the day before would leave me wrecked to the point of shattered.
