Question Seeking a Mentor for my screenplay.

I've been trying to write screenplays for many years, but I just can't seem to get the craft right. I've read the books and learned quite a bit. Yet it would seem still not enough, so I'm looking for a Mentor willing to collaborate with me, and show me what I'm doing wrong. I'm sure we can work out some form of deal. Interested?

Out of interest, what makes you say that you can't seem to get it right? Is that your own opinion, or that of others?

If you'd like, I'm happy to look over one of your screenplays and give you a fresh opinion. PM me if you're interested and I'll drop my email address over.

Where is the attitude? All I did was ask a simple question nothing more.

Talking

Dare I suggest that a little bit of diplomacy goes a long way on a message board, where we can't read each other's expressions and careless words can easily be mistaken to mean something else? "Did you receive my script OK? I hope I sent it to the right email address!" or similar enquiry sounds more pleasant than, "Do you plan on answering me soon?"

If the waters are calm, feel free to ignore me, everyone else does.

Yeah, they're calm. Still need a steady Mentor though.

Though, I do thank Trudi very much for her help I know she is busy with her online magazine, and I need someone who can help, and it will not disrupt their writing or work day.

You're more than welcome. I'm just sorry I can only mail you once a day or so due to the curse of time zones.

I hope you understand where I'm coming from, Trudi? I know you're busy too. And though you're still willing to help I don't want too interrupt your writing or magazine time. Did you get my most recent email reply?

Well I'm not sure if it's your most recent. I sent you one about an hour ago and haven't received anything since.
