Kay_XX is on a distinguished road
Hello!

I'm currently writing my first MS (never completed the others but this one has a different feel to it) and found this site and it seems great. I've always loved writing but didn't get serious about it until a short while back. Am currently working on a MS and need all the writing advice I can get to complete it (currently at 25K which is impressive for me, aiming for a 80-90K MS).

See you all around the forum!

Hi Kay,

Welcome to AW! You'll find tons of great info all over these boards.

One of the best threads you'll find is "Learn Writing with Uncle Jim" under the "Writing Novels" forum. Start at the beginning and read the entire thread. Yes, it's HUGE but it has so much info it is not to be missed.

See you around the boards!

Hi Kay! Welcome! Ditto on what sanremoave says - I am a newbie who is part way through Uncle Jim's tutorial. And have made some changes in response. Good luck with your MS.

Welcome, Kay. I haven't bothered reading the other entries, but I'm going to say this just in case. Go check out SYW (share your work) forum. A lot of people are willing to give great advice on some of your work.
