she sent me a lovely rejection e-mail after I queried her. LOL. Seriously, I think she's ok. Perhaps David knows something more. I remember researching her and finding good things, but that was months ago, so I don't remember. I only remember her name b/c she rejected me.

I sent her an email query and got a quick response asking for the first five pages. It wasn't a match for her agency, but the rejection was curteous and professional. Hope that helps.

I know she had one or more verified sales to legitimate publishers this past year. Wish I could offer more.

I queried her, when she was with another agency, and she requested the full manuscript of my fantasy novel. She ultimately rejected it, but even so I was impressed with her. Very professional and courteous. I'm definitely keeping her in mind for a future project.

I was about to query Celeste Fine when she was at another agency but recently learned that she has moved to Vigliano Associates. Does anyone know about this new agency? Also, does anyone know if Ms. Fine is still interested in representing middle-grade fantasy fiction.

This is by no means a "new" agency. David has been around for years and has a reputation as a very aggressive agent. I have no idea if Ms. Fine is there or what she's interested in, but I suggest you simply Google the agency for more information.

Nyone had any dealings with Dan Ambrosio at Vigliano and Associates?

I know Dan used to be an editor--I think at Simon and Schuster, and then he went over to Vigliano. I think the reason he requested my novel is because he used to write for a local paper right next to where I live. In my query title I said, 'I'm a P'Burg guy.' At least it caught his attention. As an aside, I wrote revisions for a lovely agent at Levine/Greenberg and it is with them now, but the last time I spent a summer doing that the agent decided she didn't want it after all. So now I'm trying to cover all bases.
Anyway, kimmi and CaoPaux, thanks for the info. Have either of you queried them? Or is anyone you know with Vigliano?

I pitched to Kirsten Neuhaus (one of Vigliano's agents) this past weekend at a conference. Was not afraid to tell authors she wasn't interested, but did so in a professional, polite way. I was extremely nervous when our session started, but she put me at ease and led the session until I was comfortable. She was free with information and advice to authors the entire weekend. Seemed very professional and knowledgeable.

Anyone have any recent dealings with Vigliano Associates...in particular David Vigliano? He's listed as repping Christian Fiction, so I sent him a query the other day for my Christian Literary Fiction.
