Below is a picture of a couple. Observe their clothing, position, expressions on their face. Let your imagination run wild and imagine what type of lifestyle they have, how they met, what were their parents like? What does their house look like? Do they have pets? What kind?

You don't need to answer all these questions and you can even add your own ideas. The idea is to explore all the possibilities.

My couple's name is June and Derrek Doanne. They live in yellow ranch a modular home in Illinois. They met when June was a bartender at Sam's Bar and Grill. Derek frequents bars and occasionally gets into fights when he has had one too many.

Last night Derek had one too many Jack Daniels and picked on Jerome who not only gave him a black eye, but broke all the windows in June's 1995 Toyota Tercel.

Justin Diallo and Michelle Levenson have been living together for a year. They rent a one-room basement apartment in Ridgeway, New Jersey, not far from New York City. Justin worked for a while as a security guard but stole some equipment from his employer, got nabbed and spent a year in prison. He's looking for a job. Michelle was her high school's prom queen and hoped to be a model, but things didn't work out, so she took a couple of waitress jobs and lived for a while with a guy named Bill Williford, an electrician who also dealt drugs. But when Bill beat her up, she was smart enough to leave him. That was just two days before Justin got released from prison and walked into the restaurant where she was working. Justin and Michelle fight sometimes, but so far their relationship hasn't taken any really disastrous turns. On Saturday nights they take a bus into Manhattan, where they hang out in sports bars, getting drunk and partying with other people their age.

That's not his girlfriend, it's his mum. Shirley Winters is stunning for 40, when viewed from a low angle. She had Derek at age 15; now he's 25 and living at home. Shirley works as a shift manager in a bank call centre in Werribee, Victoria, having somehow survived rounds and rounds of lay-offs, redundancies, and jobs leaving for the Subcontinent. Survived this far, anyway. Derek's done relatively well for himself considering he comes from a single-parent household from Werribee. He currently commutes to university in Melbourne, where he's doing a graduate diploma in Business Administration. He lives at home because rent's 'too expensive' in the city. Derek bought that couch on Ebay for 20 bucks, but he had to drive to Adelaide to pick it up. Shirley's very proud of her son.

April Stevens and Mark White met in a bar 11 months ago. April moved into Mark's small apartment after 2 months of dating. Mark is currently unemployed and April is working part time as a waitress. They are 2 months late on their rent and way behind on their bills. If they don't pay their rent within a the next week they will be evicted. April wants to find a second job but she just found out that she's pregnant with Mark's baby and she's trying to figure out how to tell Mark

Evelyn and Mitch Robinson have been married for 50 years. Mitch's hobby is taking photographs from helicopters and then selling the photo's to home owners. Before he retired Mitch was a sales rep for a drug company, and at one time was addicted to amphetemines.

Evelyn used to work in an insurance agency and since retiring she enjoys going for rides with Mitch while he takes pictures. She is also very active in the local bridge and garden clubs. She is chairman of the garden club's biggest fund raiser held each summer "Evening Garden Party". The event has a three course dinner plus premium wines and dinner is served in the town's garden.

The couple has 3 children Walter, Imogene and Howard. Walter married Betty and they have 2 children. Imogene married Thomas and they have one child. Howard lives with his life partner Bruce they share their home with 3 cats.

This is the last known photo of Shep and Barb Hoskinson. Shep was vice president of Flamsco Industries for ten years, a position that had enabled the couple to own an 18-room mansion on the Gulf Coast, a 26-foot yacht, and the helicopter pictured here. Everyone called Shep and Barb the perfect couple--cheerful, outgoing, community-minded and the loving parents of three grown children. Seven years ago, their neighbors were shocked when Shep was accused of embezzling $40,000,000 from Flamsco. On the day before his trial was to begin, the couple disappeared. There have been reported sightings of the pair in the Bahamas, Norway, Sri Lanka and Brazil, but so far no clear evidence of their whereabouts has turned up.

Eustace Macgregor (seen here with husband Thomas) was, in her prime, one of the world's best spies. She has adopted a hundred personalities over the years, and saves many countries from many threats they didn't know were looming over them.

One mission, when she was twenty-six however, went terribly wrong. She was thrown off a bridge and into ice-cold water, she awoke two weeks later in a hospital, with her doctor and future husband looking down at her.

She hated him immediately, and we all know what that means for the future. Her hatred dissipated, however, when the man who had tried to murder her tried again in the hospital. Thomas killed the man with by injecting air into the man's jugular.

They emigrated to the US, and settled down for a trouble-free life, living comfortably off Eustace's pension.

They have three children, and now four grandchildren. On the weekend, they like to go flying.

Emma, a stay-at-home Mom kept only a half acre of the property for her own use, growing all the things for canning her family loved best. John was able to lease the rest of the land for a tidy profit. That, added to his trucker's salary kept Emma and their four children, now grown, in good straights over the years. "It may not have been everything," says John, "but there was food on the table and plenty of love."

This is their first vacation alone together and they always dreamed of taking a ride in a helicopter.

Dale and Evan fly sightseeing choppers over the Grand Canyon as they have for the past 35 years, just as long as they've been married. Dale lets Evan wear the hat and leather jacket to look 'pro'. Though she's the better pilot, he can get the chocks off faster. They've 4 children, 9 grandchildren and are expecting another soon. They've never had a crash and participate in rescues for the national park service.

They first met at the canyon's south side on a donkey trail ride when Dale was 13 and Evan 12. Entranced by the 'world's biggest hole' as Evan put it, they vowed to come back every five years to see if it grew.

Corresponding led to more joint interests and exactly 10 years later they were wed on the Bright Angel trail by a local shaman of the Zuni tribe.

Just curious what type of company is Flamsco? It might be a good business to be in.

Flamsco Industries, Inc., Ltd., GMBH, SA provides personnel and materiel to the United States Government for a wide variety of missions overseas. Because most of Flamsco's work is classified, I am unable to be more precise.

Arthur Bailey talks to his daughter, Sarah Widnes and granddaughter, Felicity Widnes. Arthur fought in the Korean War, and on his return to America started a furniture business in Ohio. Sarah was born in 1960, Arthur's second child. She started as an office manager in the family business but has since forged a career in public relations for a nationwide fast food chain. Her daughter Felicity was born in 1987, and is now studying pre-med with hopes of becoming an oncologist.

Arthur has inoperable cancer of the bowel. Here he's hearing all about Felicity's research interests in oncology and is telling her he knows she'll do great things for people with cancer. He's considering whether to let her in on the secret of where a stolen treasure is buried somewhere behind the Demarcation Line in North Korea.

Charles Sandiforth is lucky to be alive. For two weeks after he lapsed into a coma, doctors had little hope for his recovery. Ironically, he awoke on the same day that his wife of 55 years, Maude, was arrested on suspicion of having poisoned him with arsenic. Though the couple had kept up a facade for the sake of their children and grandchildren, their love match faded long ago, and Maude may simply have wanted to get rid of the old bastard. Monique (left) is the youngest of the Sandiforth's children. She and her husband Don both work for an architectural firm. To her left is their daughter Chenille, the youngest Sandiforth grandchild, who is a sophomore at Duke University. Chenille has always been devoted to "Granpapoo."

Charles Wirth is proud of his trophey wife Elana. They were married just two weeks ago. It was on their honeymoon in Las Vegas that he had a heart attack. Julie is his granddaughter who attends Columbia University in New York. She has just stopped in to see him and to meet his new wife.

Julie assumes like most other people that Elana is after her grandfather's money. He is a retired stockbroker and has made some very shewd investments that has made him a millionaire many times over.

However what Julie and the other's don't know is that Elana developed face makeup made from natural minerals and actually has more money than Charles. The two met oddly enough at a Scrabble tournament and share the love of the game.

The only artifact in his posession was a carved fortune stick, believed to have belonged to the 15th Century king Sejong. Priceless just for its early Hangul inscriptions whittled by the king's own hand, what Charles doesn't know is that the stick actually encodes the combination that will spring open the tomb of Huang Di, the Yellow Emperor. Of course, someone will have to find the South Pointing Chariot if they're to discover Huang Di's resting place...

The fortune stick is buried close to what became the Joint Security Area with its hut that straddles the last Cold War border.

Jack's clasping his daughter's Kirsten's hand for luck--for both of them. His wife, and her mom, Irena, smiles but that doesn't reach her eyes. While he gets a new heart, Kirsten will be flying the next shuttle orbiter. Irena is sure Jack won't make it, then she'll get his billions, all by herself. Kirsten's flight back will be a tragedy, ensuring that her trust fund will also go to Irena. Nothing will ever link the two tragedies, and a certain government will be exceedingly grateful.

Jack's technology business will dissolve, the horrible news of yet another shuttle mishap will set Nasa back 10 years and Irena will have the means to set her plan in motion.
