back soon
thank all of you again and again
yesterday i read on here about the bots recording peoples poetry posted on the net, (and i guess everything else we post or do on the net) even off their private sites; my question is: how much longer do yall think networking via internet will go on till a civil war breaks out again? I think people, whether the common population or huge companies like Publish America, instigate so much hatred on the net till one day war will break out in the United States. again.
Patience, morale, and thinking things thru are just not as strong of suits in human nature while battling the temptation of the net and cell phones and all the easy stuff that lets us multitask and snoop and cheat and steal etc, so i think after i find out if i can do anything legally concerning my book, i'm going back to the old way of life.
i've already banned cell phone usage, and if i hadn't been referred to Publish America by a lady working in a Christain bookstore in Athens Ga, i never would have learned the internet in the first place. no i don't
blame her at all, she was only trying to be helpful.
since the only way to conduct business with PA was over the net, i had to learn how to get around on it, before then i'd watch others use it from time to time, but that was it.
i wish i had stuck to the old school sometimes, but on the other hand i have met some nice people on the internet and i get to research the things that interest me, then there's youtube...oh God, the net is just like everything else that has good and bad points, but on here i think the negative multiplies faster than the positive.
i was thinking if someone stole and published any of my work before i took it off the net, well if i had money i might feel flattered; but since i'm a poor minority in my small hometown (which even at 36 years old i am too afraid to leave), i'd probably have to go get back on medicine again myself. if you can't beat em you have to join em, or starve on your way to insanity. then again, morale is such a hard thing to compromise, it might bring a self judgement of attrition from my very soul.
*one thing i'd like to say to Forest is that life is
not like a box of chocolates, cause mine all came with maps. now where did i put that thing
