Air Mail Markets
By Amy Brozio-Andrews

Hello again and welcome to the latest issue of Air Mail Markets - bringing you more variety than ever this week!

We start in Dublin with Albedo One, the first Irish market to appear in the Air Mail Markets column. Accepting SF, fantasy and horror fiction and author interviews, it's one of the few markets that actively seek and pay for fiction submissions. Accompanying Albedo One is another Canadian regional publication, Vancouver Lifestyles magazine, spotlighting the people, places and issues near and dear to the people of Vancouver. And not to be left out is Australia's Ozbike magazine, dedicated to the biker culture down under. The only requirement Ozbike requires of its freelancers is to be knowledgeable about the biker lifestyle.

So if it's horror, your hometown (if you're a Vancouver native, at least) or Harleys you're interested in, there's a market in this issue for you!

Bonne chance!

Should You Incorporate?
By Daniel Steven

As a freelance writer or author, you may wonder about the benefits of incorporating.  You’ve probably seen the ads in writer’s magazines and on the web:  “Incorporate Your Business for $31.00!”  The claims are astounding: incorporating will protect you from creditors, lower your taxes, pay for fringe benefits, instill financial discipline, get new clients, and cook your breakfast.

Well, not quite.  There are advantages to incorporating, especially if your writing income is in six figures, or if you need to limit your personal exposure to lawsuits.  But incorporating also can be expensive and ineffective.
