Betty Winslow

Betty Winslow was born in Dixie and has spent most of her life living it down. She makes her home in the great state of Ohio, where she is busy with a day job as a school librarian, a growing freelance career (including a story in one of the books Rusty's and Kimberly's are also in, Charity), and a houseful of teenagers, only two of whom actually live there.

She's a Christian and has been married to the same guy for over 30 years, during which time she and her husband were privileged to have 21 years with their oldest child, who died in a car wreck. They became grandparents in 2000 and Betty turned fifty in 2002. Neither event fazed her in the least. "In fact, I celebrated my birthday by buying and wearing a gaudy feathered red hat to church that day! People are still talking about it..."

She's been reading since she was four and writing since the first time she finished reading something and thought to herself, "I could have written that!" (which she freely admits turned out to be much harder than it looked!) There is no web site for her yet, since geekdom seems to have eluded her so far - "...but I'm working on it!" she says. Stay tuned...
