Hi all,

Just wanted to share that if you caught Randy Pausch's "last lecture" on YOu Tube and Oprah, you should definitely read the book based on the lecture. In it, Pausch expands on the theme of the lecture "Really Achieving your Childhood Dreams." I've been so inspired by the book that I've been submitting more queries and responding to ads for writers. Please read this book! It's an awesome way to be grateful for the life one has. :)

First of all, for those who didn't know it:

Very sad.

Secondly, I listened to his lecture on youtube and I have the book right now. I feel like a dick for saying it, but it really hasn't done much for me. The lecture was ok, but I'm struggling to get through the book just because it's so "bleh" to me.

I watched the whole thing over the weekend. I hadn't heard of Mr. Pausch before because, apparently, I live under a rock.

I thought the lecture was wonderful and worthwhile. I don't know that I'll read the book, but the attitude he diagrams certainly couldn't hurt the world. I'm all for it.
