Will anyone be reading the new John Cheever biography? The NY Times reviewed it yesterday here. This piece made me want to pull out my collected short stories and reread Goodbye My Brother and The Enormous Radio. His voice is so acute that it overrides the dated concerns of some of the fiction--the fussiness about class and sex, for example.
