The Help by Kathryn Stockett

I just finished this, and loved it. I started it with some scepticism, but was quickly drawn in. Anyone else read it?

The Awful Terrible thing completely grossed me out and still does! The only disappointment is that compared to that th eother "reveal" (the Constantine secret) was pretty tame!
I liked how every time I thought something was "wrong" -- for instance, I didn;t believe the League ladies could or would have delivered 30 toilets on Hilly's lawn -- the author cleared it up afterwards.
I was also impresed by the fact that she was rejected by 43 agents before finding representation. I realised how quickly I give up.

I mean, that the toilets were actually from the junkyard, delivered by blacks ! It's after I stopped laughing I asked myself huh??? Somehow, I like everything to make sense in the end.
