Any lovers of Jostein Gaarder's books? Sophie's World was the first one I read - as I expect is the same for most people! But another of his book's, Maya, is one of my favourite books in the world.
I love his writing - he just draws you in, and you learn so much without even realising it. If ever I need a bit of inspiration or cheering up, his books can do it
