I know, it's not exactly a literary classic.

I loved it though. What I want to know is how, as an author, she's written over 150 novels and every time I read her books I'm amazed at her ability to create 3-D characters...and they're not like other characters she's written. They're always original and they're always entertaining. I'm just amazed at her talent for characterization.

I can only wish I was that talented...

I've not read High Noon, but I feel the same way about Roberts. She is prolific and consistent, and in dozens of her books that I've read, I have only been disappointed with two or three of them (can't win 'em all, and I'm sure other people didn't like ones I did, or did like the ones I didn't).

She is truly talented. :)
