I just ordered "Cesar's Way: The Natural, Everyday Guide to Understanding and Correcting Common Dog Problems" by Cesar Millan.

I have some issues with my beast.

Good book? Bad book?

There are far superior dog trainers out there who are less cruel than that creep. I highly recommend Jan Fennell's methods. I trained my dog using her methods, and I have a wonderful, loving, and secure dog.

ETA: sorry, that doesn't really answer your question about the book. My recommendation since you've already purchased it: reject his intimidation techniques, but use the more gentle stuff. Best of luck with your dog.
