So anyone read Peter F Hamilton. Loved the nights dawn trilogy, loved the confedaration brace, and looking forward to buying the first part of the void trilogy.

So does anyone else read this master of british sci-fi?

yep - loved night's dawn and the Greg Mandell series - hated the last two book series, only got halfway thorugh the first one, second one is called Judas Unchained - can't remember the name of the first one. Fallen Dragon was really good, though.

Alastair Reynolds is good too, but for mastery its got to be Iain M. Banks Culture novels, and 'The Player of Games' is excellent, too.

Well, have just picked up his lastest "The Dreaming Void" and started it last night, excellent so far, nice to see the regular characters come through in almost iconic ways...eg for ozzies sake, looking forward to the return of Paula Myo.
Have long been a fan of this brilliant british author, having first discovered him in the excellent Nights Dawn Trilogy..
so is anyone else a fan...

Oh yeah, Nights Dawn and Fallen Dragon were great. Haven't read the new stuff yet.

oh you must do....but do not read the dreaming void before you have read pandoras star and judas unchained as they are linked together, and you won't understand what is really happening with a few of the characters ok.
