Like the Elmer Fudd, yeah it is kinda that way - sadly. lol. Thanks for the good wishes. I have one agent who requested 30 pgs, and his webpage said he wasn't actually open to new authors right now, but I guess he liked what he saw or he would not have offered to look. Don't know, I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

It's the only hope I've got until some new project nags me to death, I finish, and have something new to submit. Chuckle. Which isn't often. I work on them in pieces and I have too many already. I just get bored too easily. Lol.

It's funny. It's really only been a week or two since I've jumped into everything and I feel like a whole corner of the internet/world has now opened up. All these things I didn't even know existed until now. So much to learn. I'm enjoying it though.

parumpdragon--that's great someone requested 30 pages! Promising, right?

I haven't figured out how to handle all the SNI's. I've got ideas floating all the time. I can't decide if they are distractions from the WIP or what. So far I've just been keeping notes on them, like a title and short paragraph synopsis. I have a few waiting in the wings. I don't know how I will handle them moving forward, but for now I just feel like I need to finish the idea I have started.

Thank you Pezie, yes, I think it is promising. He wanted the first chapter. That chapter just happened to be 30 pgs, had it been longer he would have still taken it. Rule of thumb tends to be the 'first chapter' or 50 pages of it, whichever comes first - when submitting MS. Lol.

As for the multiple ideas, I usually just jot down the scene that keeps popping into my mind at first in type. Of course I have what I call 'Writer's ADHD', as I can work on different MS all at once, five pages here, 10 there, on any of my 48 stories. Like I said, I have too much space between my ears. Lol.

Leave it. I'm thinking of keeping Dorothy. Only a few more posts until I can increase the size (I think).

The Wizard of Oz is my all time favorite book and movie. LOVE! I think Steampunk Dorothy is awesome

Well, the 48 are just what I work on. I've deleted a bunch of scrap ideas that never went anywhere. I have 10 that are my favs, and just keep reeling me back in to work on them. chuckle

The Wizard of Oz IS the most awesome book ever written! In my book that is. The first really pretty book that I'd gotten from my grandparents was the Wizard of Oz. I have such good memories about that book & the movie.....*SIGH*

Me too! I've been obsessed with Dorothy for as long as I can remember. I also loved the musical Wicked. My husband and I are big music nerds, we love all things classical and Broadway.

Anyway, I think The Wizard of Oz and Where the Red Fern Grows were THE books that got me hooked into reading and writing. Still my favorites to this day.

That's great, love Dorothy now that I can really see her, lol. The people in the building across from me are blaring music, the walls are even thumping so I cannot sleep. Otherwise my crosseyed grumpy posterior would be in bed. Ugh! Oh well.

Anywhoo.....I'm back to writing/reading. I got my Amazon order. I actually ordered Hexhall & Angelfire. I'm reading Hexhall right now since I'd read it's sequel Demonglass a couple of weeks ago. Now for a way to scam money from Kenny to get Paranormalcy & Supernaturally (when it comes out in July) LOL

I'd won a copy of Demonglass & hadn't realized that it was actually a sequel to Hexhall...so I had to order it when I won an Amazon gift card! That & now I have Courtney Allizon Moulton's Angelfire....you know...the one that was on the top of the boards for a while & everyone was mad because they couldn't order it yet....well...granted I'm hopping on the train a little late....but at least I'm here! LOL So needless to say that it's been kinda hard to keep my mind completely on my writing with these two books sitting around! LOL
